Foundation Notes
The Fort Worth Alumnae Chapter collects
Campbell Soup labels
and donates them to the Delta Gamma Schools for the Blind. The schools use
the labels to purchase Braille books and other educational toys for the children.
The Fort Worth alumnae also collect hotel
toiletries
to donate to the group home for the visually
impaired. In addition we also collect used
eyeglasses that are distributed to Alexander Vision Clinic. Our
"Stay-at-Home" fundraiser was very successful this year and raised
nearly
$3,000
to donate to the Alexander Vision Clinic. The money raised
will go to the Alexander Vision Clinic at Cook Children's Medical Center. To donate labels, toiletries, eyeglasses or to help volunteer please
e-mail our
Webmaster. This year
we are collecting books and music on
cassettes
and or CDs
for the visually impaired.
