Marilyn Komechak Gilbert - Fort Worth DG member is a published author of Paisano Pete Snake-Killer Bird. Her book is about a roadrunner that lives on a Texas ranch. Marilyn communicates a wide variety of facts about roadrunners in a fun story! Congratulations to Marilyn for this wonderful achievement. Marilyn is a retired psychologist and now writing books. Update February 2007- Marilyn and another writer have been asked by DNA Productions to write a children's screenplay for animation, based on Marilyn's children's book, Paisano Pete. It is set in South Texas on a ranch and is about a roadrunner (Pete) and a young girl. She also has several other books which will be forthcoming in the future. Marilyn has also been named to Who's Who in America for the 2008 edition.
